À travers les 7 étapes du deuil – choc, déni, colère, tristesse, résignation, acceptation, reconstruction – ce livre raconte comment la photographie, quand elle redevient matière, peut accompagner la perte et la mémoire.
J’y rends hommage à ma maman, partie le 18 février 2025, en travaillant ses photos avec un langage visuel sensible grâce au papier miroir, fil conducteur graphique de cet ouvrage.
Chaque image est une tentative douce de dire l’absence, et la présence malgré tout.
An intimate and graphic publishing project on grief. Through the seven stages of grief—shock, denial, anger, sadness, resignation, acceptance, and reconstruction—this book recounts how photography, when it becomes material again, can accompany loss and memory.
I pay tribute to my mother, who passed away on February 18, 2025, by working with her photos using a sensitive visual language thanks to mirror paper, the graphic thread running through this book. Each image is a gentle attempt to express absence, and presence despite everything.
